Շախմատի միջազգային ֆեդերացիայի (ՖԻԴԵ) թվիթերյան էջում անցկացված հարցման համաձայն՝ բոլոր ժամանակների ուժեղագույն շախմատիստ է ճանաչվել աշխարհի չեմպիոն, նորվեգացի Մագնուս Կարլսենը, որը ստացել է ձայների 36 տոկոսը։
Երկրորդ տեղում է աշխարհի 13-րդ չեմպիոն, ռուսաստանցի Գարի Կասպարովը՝ 28 տոկոս։
Եռյակը եզրափակել է աշխարհի 11-րդ չեմպիոն, ամերիկացի Ռոբերտ Ֆիշերը (մահացել է 2008-ին, 64 տարեկանում)։
Հարցման մասնակիցների 11 տոկոսը նշել է «այլ շախմատիստ»։ Մեկ շաբաթ տեւած հարցմանը մասնակցել է ընդամենը 511 մարդ։
